Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 21/04/2025Excuse the poor diagram I made, but I've been brainstorming something along these lines for future hybrid sets - leveraging the Native Instruments Z1, X1, Maschine, and maybe an M32 if I'm feeling cheeky. 👾 010

Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 13/12/2024I was fortunate enough to catch Interstella 5555 on the big screen with @padawan0.bsky.social last night - I won't lie, the AI upscaling took away some of the charm and made some scenes jarring, but overall it was an awesome experience. 🤖 🤖 What did everyone else think?! 021
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 10/12/2024The DrumBrute Impact! It's been my go-to for drum sequencing and is a blast with the MiniFreak! 👾 020

Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 26/11/2024I think mine is broken because I haven't seen that screen yet. 😭 000
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 21/11/2024What software synths has #synthsky been using lately? Lately, I've been digging the MiniBrute V - it's got a heavy and (as close as you can get) analogue feel that I've been using extensively for my next project. I have to admit, Arturia has some kickass emulation. 👾 #synth #musicsky 020
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 18/11/2024You found a room full of Synthesizers in your boss's garage. You play them, but then curiosity gets the better of you and you move a couple of wires around. Little did you know, they were keeping your friend Gary alive and now you have to face this man to save Gary and the planet Synthos 010
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 15/11/2024Showing off the cheeky DrumBrute Impact in its natural environment for #SynthSky There's something hypnotic about watching the lights move around a sequencer. 151
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 14/11/2024What do you get when you provide hackers with an immersive video mapped space with friends, music, art installations, and a limited phone policy? You get the legendary Darknet Diaries Masquerade Party. You had to be there, but if you weren't, you can catch the set here: on.soundcloud.com/AzGnE 031
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 14/11/2024The MiniFreak has been an integral part of my workflow - I can get the analogue sound and also sync it to the VST in my DAW. It's the best of both worlds! 270
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 11/11/2024It's bittersweet that I can't officially release my dance and lofi remixes of "Never Fade Away" - but that doesn't mean that people can't still enjoy them. To date, this is my favorite collaboration. youtu.be/oCIzK6--3FM?... 030
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 08/11/2024I'm so intrigued by this. A million things come to mind like grooves and loudness wars. I had to share this picture to see if this is what you mean 🤔 110
Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 08/11/2024From sketch to EP - @john-f-fountain.bsky.social helped bring "Saturday Morning Cartoons" to life with his art. Who better to help capture the Saturday Morning Cartoon spirit than someone who was helped create them? 050

Alex Acacia @alexacacia.com · 25/10/2024What's one piece of gear that's become an essential part of your workflow? For me, it's the MiniFreak - the sound, character, and playfulness of it make it a blast to use; it's quickly become a staple in the studio. 120
