In case you're considering buying a home, here's a typical list of pending household projects I have going at any given time This is only 2/3 of the list

Home Projects

Build plant benches
Organize the orbs
Pay "protection fees" to the ivy
Reorient the bungus spigot
Goat friend
Motion-activated Halloween store animatronic for the guest room closet
Build a tiny conveyor belt and put little boxes filled with nuts on it so the squirrels look like they're working on an assembly line
Refill the bungus tank
Verify that window massage is a real thing
Replace mirrors with high-quality LCD screens showing static footage of the room
Like a central vacuum cleaner but instead of a vacuum it's a vape
Woe nook
Check if the spiders are worshipping the 3D-printed spider I covered in gold foil as a god yet
Give the spiders the new wifi code
Smart forks

Twitter timeline only shows me people I don't follow if 2 of my follows reply to them; bluesky is showing me with only 1 follow replying. This is annoying.

"the thing I most want from this new site is for it to ban all the people I don't like from the old site" is really not a bullish sign

As I understand it, there's a powerful result in AI that you can get LLMs to translate between two languages without any "Rosetta stone" of matching translated text, as long as it has a large corpus in each. I wonder if that would work for documents from an alien species?

if you added me to your circle on twitter and were thinking, for some reason, "what gives, I have bared my innermost soul to alex, why am I not in his circle in return" the answer is I don't have one and can't imagine a tweet I would put in one

I am seeing tweets, and entire threads, show up multiple times in a row
