I’m relying on the UCI to ban 32” wheels for competition. I’ve got very nice bikes I’ve saved up hard for, to be told by the bike industry they are obsolete is a joke I won’t laugh at. FU bike manufacturers who just see us as a continual dripping roast. #700C4Me #bikesky

For me, Demi Vollering was a stand out favourite yesterday. I’ve no clue about today; Potential solos from Remco, MVDP, TP could do something. If a group sprint finish happens I’d go Wout. I can’t see Del Toro or Seixas beating the Belgian train which can swap tactics to the best placed rider.

In other news, thinking about going back to Zwift from Rouvy for winter training. Rouvy felt pretty cool & alternative until Zwift bought it over recently, now feels pointless since you’re paying Zwift anyway. Used to like doing TT’s on Zwift, never did the bunch races much. Alpe du Zwift anyone?

I’ve got a confession. Not entered the 1st cyclocross race of the season. Because: It’s nearly 4 hours away, & the organisers have put my class out first. I can’t be arsed getting up at 04:30, leave at 05:15 for a 40 min race. I don’t even feel bad. Younger me would be disgusted with me.

Another cyclist killed on a normal club group ride last night by a car. This time here, Scotland, we probably have a lower death rate to cars than other countries, not that remotely helps his family & their loss. Sick of these senseless deaths of people just enjoying a normal healthy lifestyle. 😢
