Scientists understand their data can be incomplete or that their facts are separate from their values. But do we "see" data, or do we "interpret" it through the lens of our training? Perhaps even "material reality" is accessed through prior conceptual commitments; like "seeing" (unreal) magenta.. 👻

The "American philosophy" demands one take a position on an issue, no matter how little evidence actually supports the position. "Transgenderism", if I may use the term, is not understood because of a critical theoretical gap; the sex-gender distinction. Ordinary people still use these synonymously. This causes a huge amount of confusion. I appeal to the fact that this has been accepted by mainstream academia for ~30 years.

Constructed a formal-ontic-phenomenal framework for online argumentation including a taxonomy of one ideal and nineteen non-ideal roles/strategies. And since it's "just a fiction", nobody is required to take it seriously. I can probably hook it into the Big Five if required, though. Grounding. Etc.
