The painting “Boazn” is also one of the few for which there are preparatory studies. Here is the only one I have kept. The term “Boazn” refers to a traditional pub here in Munich. I really like this kind of places where different people share time and space together. #sketch #drawing #fediart

Pen drawing on paper. It is a preparatory study for a painting. Several figures sitting at a table with various objects, including bottles and glasses. On the other right, a handwritten text describes the cough symptoms. At the top you can see drawings of a sheep's head. This is also one of the characters in the painting.

Two years have passed since I painted these figures just after the Oktoberfest here in Munich. One of my favorite details are the brush strokes used to define the chair on the bottom left. Boazn, 2024, Oil on canvas, 120x105 cm - Still available #mastoart #kunst #painting #art #fediart

💦☀️🌴🦟 I remember starting this little pencil drawing on paper on a very sunny afternoon. I remember the warm sun beating down on my shoulders and the sweat on my head. I remember the shade of the tree, my long pants and the insects buzzing around me. #drawing #fediart #mastoart #kunst #dessin
