I'm curious about local small models, so I bought Tesla P4 on eBay. It said it is open box. Well the thermopaste was solid dry and memory thermopads as well. So I replaced both. I like the card is caped on 75W. It can be also used to encode videos on my Jellyfin server.

@alesroubicek I was curious how effective this is. So I turned it off. This is ambient temperature in the rack. 5.5°C difference.

@banterCZ já to řeším předním plněním :) U tvýho bych tam možná dal nějaký tvrdší dřevo, aby to dýl vydrželo, nebo uhlík.

Wanted to add some ventilation to my 10" rack. So I ordered 2x 6cm Noctua fans with USB connector. I knew there's a suitable hole to feed cables through, but how to attach those fans? First I thought I'll ask someone to 3D it for me, but I really don't want […] [Original post on indieweb.social]

Tohle mi dneska udělalo radost, když jsem vybíral poštu. Než jsem to otočil a zjistil, že to není pro mě...

Spent last two days recovering and rediscovering LAN in @diversight.ai office. Cables cut and rerouted to the new 10" rack. Fished new cable to the EdgeRouter. Also labeled most of the cables with socket number so it will be easier in the future to do something with it.

My interactive recipe for my homemade Pizza got some improvements. It has a cooking mode and a short version of the recipe for those who already know the method and just need the measures. The combination of those two modes is very handy for me […] [Original post on indieweb.social]

I did a new cut of the hlidacshopu.cz extension yesterday. This one brings support to Firefox for Android. New shop 4camping is included as well (take our sales there with a pinch of salt because we don't have enough data to be methodically correct) […] [Original post on indieweb.social]

Frosty mist. Our air intake for the stove was totally frozen, so the flames were weak. I had to go out and use a torch to melt it. Now the air intake is free and the stove is burning as it should have.

I bought a new Standalone DJ controller back in September - OMNIS-DUO. And I wanted to dress it in doto.design skin. When I tried to disassemble the pitch fader, I didn't know about the P-lock mechanism and used brute force... And I damaged the fader even […] [Original post on indieweb.social]

Last night we went to J.A.R.'s 35 birthdays. It was bad. They are really good musicians, but the sound was bad, the crowd was sleepy... Me again thinking why should I go out in Prague. Because it is repeating theme.
