With the lineart finished, I moved on to the base colors and started establishing the overall palette. I wanted the colors to complement the character while also preparing the piece for the final lighting.

For the coloring, I tried my newer single-layer technique again. It’s definitely trickier than my usual workflow, but I really like how the colors come together this way. I think this style is slowly becoming part of my workflow. -w-

Starting with the shape exploration! This one was a fun challenge since I’m not very used to drawing two characters interacting together. Finding a pose that made both characters work naturally took some experimenting, but I really enjoyed the process.

I've noticed that when I draw on stream, I usually finish faster and my drawings turn out better. Maybe it's because of the imaginary social pressure in my mind :'u Anyway, it helped, so I'll probably stream more often, even though I don't know what to talk about yet xdxd
