Oh its 100% only aimed at people who post speedart on tiktok.

Aleksander Rune @aleksanderrune.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Legitimately. I only see this kinda stuff from young kids on tiktok who know nothing about the industry

Aleksander Rune @aleksanderrune.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

Im not super familiar with this subject but from what little I know of Dissociative Disorders, it’s a protective mechanism the brain does in response to trauma. So thats a little weird for them to be saying that.

Aleksander Rune @aleksanderrune.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

It sounds like it targets specifically people who post their speedpaints on tiktok. Which is where I believe this ruling comes from. Ive seen so many comments bashing people who use 3D models there and they just are so incredibly ignorant of how proffessionals work.

In the age of AI…they wanna ban people from using reference? Oh. Okay. Like. Sure the majority of us can draw just the same without these things but this is still very weird and heavy handed. And how will they tell if it’s by sight reference or tracing? Can’t spot the diff in many cases… #artfight

"this is not about using references it's about tracing" Ah yes The event that wants people to pump out 70000 drawings doesn't want artists to make things a bit easier for themselves by tracing photos of themselves or 3d models they posed

Sick and tired of these "art spaces" that pretend to be all for artists then they show how fucking unknowledgeable about how artists work

Its so frustrating they’re amplifying ignorance.

@artfight.net please consider changing this rule. Tons of artists (beginners, professionals and all in between) rely on 3D models and photos to create artwork with accurate proportions in a short time frame. Art fight encourages a consistent stream of artwork that benefits from these resources. (1/)

5. Bases, character creators, and dollmakers may be used for character images, but must be credited. They may not be used for attacks.

a. This includes websites like Picrew, HeroForge, video game character creators, and other doll makers.
b. This includes artwork traced from poseable 3D models (such as Clip Studio Paint, Design Doll, and similar programs), self-made bases, and photographs you have taken.

Oh so artfight is the one who started this bullshit on tiktok where 3d models are “traced”

Happy #Portfolioday I’m Alek, a digital artist who primarily works on anime style art works. I love drawing ocs from Dungeons and Dragons and Vampire the Masquerade and hearing how their histories influenced their design. #artsky #ocs

The council has spoken and I have updated my Commission prices to reflect the time spent on them. I feel like I’ve leveled up enough to raise them but its a mixed bag knowing I have to up my prices in order to reflect my growth and expertise but knowing how the worlds on fire.

I’m working on a 20 styles challenge rn. Its def got several older styles. Very Millennial coded despite me being gen z. I just wanted to show off the origins of my art and inspiration. Arina Tanemura is one of my favorite artists of all time.
