The Welsh Chamber Orchestra at Blaengarw Workmen's Hall tonight. So wonderful to have word-clqss music at the tops of the valleys. They performed Morfydd Owen's Threnody for the Passing of Branwen, from the Mabinogi, and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

Saw Welsh National Opera's production of Wagner's The Flying Dutchman at the Millennium Centre tonight. One of the most mesmerising things I've seen on stage. I was captivated start to finish.
