Oh that Chainsaw Man chapter is just straight up my favourite in Part 2 LOL

AJ @aleczandxr.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

Shoutout to this extremely dramatic and melancholic sailor man from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, I’ve been thinking about this line for 20 years for no particular rhyme or reason

I love (certain) Pokémon regions, I could seriously talk about them forever. Some of the coolest indirect storytelling in the business.

Kingdom Hearts just seems like a series that I would find a lot to love in. I went through it years and years ago and overall didn’t connect with it, but I’ve forgotten everything about the story and I’ve been thinking that I should try another journey with fresh eyes sometime.

This may be my favourite sequence in all of JoJo's. I am in total awe, what an unbelievable character conclusion.

I’ve been saying this in a lighthearted way for weeks and weeks but I do genuinely believe that Elbaf can solidify itself as one of, if not the absolute best arc in One Piece if Oda decides to go big with it. All of the foundations and pieces are there and it’s already amazing.

The first few hours of Deltarune Chapter 4 gave me one of the most incredible moments I’ve experienced in a video game..

Okay enough time has passed for me to make sure it isn’t recency bias LOL Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 is simply one of the greatest games ever and it’s in the highest echelon of not just my favourite games, but stories in general. I’m cooked.

Tfw your Backloggd list goes on the front page of the site leading to random strangers commenting nonsense on it and demanding you explain yourself

Every time I think about it I get caught up with how The Legend of Zelda is such a melancholic and sad series full of genuine loss & sacrifice. More than anything, the biggest reason I wanna finish Tears of the Kingdom is to see its overall conclusion in terms of tone regarding this.

15 episodes and the first two arcs down for Orb: On The Movements of the Earth. Honestly really really really good, there are lots of stories that share elements with Orb but my goodness the way it brings it all together is out of this world. Can’t wait for the rest.

That Suikoden II Remaster has snuck up on me, might need to pause my Trails binge for a couple of weeks for it after Reverie..

Really well done long-running stories that are able to reflect upon their own legacy and get away with being self/indulgent because they’re just THAT peak >>>

I’ll never get my head around how people can avoid eating things with .5s. I understand it but can’t relate. Don’t get me wrong I’m not about to go crazy with decimals but I need some specificity to differentiate scores, it’s too big of a jump from 4 stars to 5 stars

The easiest way to not get me to do something is to outright demand that I do it and never leave me alone about it (obviously there’s a difference between asking or inquiring respectfully and demanding/pestering) I straight up do not like listening to rude annoying people and I never will😭

Ping Pong The Animation is without doubt one of the best stories I’ve ever seen. Has been for years and years and only ascends higher and higher through revisits. The raw honesty, the rich character work and dynamics, the symbolism, the human candor and expression. Insanity.

AJ @aleczandxr.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Yo what on earth happened in this One Piece chapter LOL (rhetorical, DO NOT ANSWER THIS SERIOUSLY)

AJ @aleczandxr.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

Blocking people just for being bothersome nuisances or even just for being mildly annoying is really the move these days and tweeting literally anything about the big 3 is such an excellent way to give clarity for that, people are just never normal about these stories
