Well, online people, I had a problem with my EV yesterday. It wasn't charging unless I used a fast charger. Some prodding with a meter showed me that the 8 year old charge cable/EVSE was bad. Nowhere in the repair process did I feel I needed an engineering degree to find the problem.

I discovered a seldom-mentioned advantage of EV's yesterday. If a cat tries to hide under the hood, they aren't in danger of being injured by rotating parts. But the car may sound funny, I heard "Click. Clunk. Meeeoooowwwww." Went to de-cat the motor stack and a very fast but unharmed cat ran out.

Stop trying to convince americans that solar is better for the environment. Start talking about how solar makes one independent. I can't make a gallon of gas by myself. I can't make coal or fuel oil. But I can make electricity with stuff I have at home.

@techconnectify I have a set of scary wall outlets which are typically used in mobile homes. I also have some light switches. I wanted to get your thoughts on them. I will mention my father, who has been an electrician the entire four decades I have known him, said "Those are really scary."

Good afternoon, bluesky! I'm going to give this a shot. Try not to make me cry. I like electric cars, the more unusual the better, along with vegetable gardening, keeping chickens and bees, 3D printing, Drone photography, and old 4x4's from Japan, again the weirder the better.
