Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Reverse angles of a tender moment: Millie has come to love her pug roommates, and has started trying to show them more affection. Luna knows better than to chomp, but you can see they both want to play. #figuringitout #cat #pug

Face of millie the cat, looking down at her dog friend. The light makes her eyes look entirely black.

Luna the pug looks up at the back of the couch where Millie the cat sits. Luna is smiling, showing a couple teeth which she only does when happy.

The motion blur is our kitty refusing to be caught on camera loving a pug. #cats #rescuepugs #pugs

On the left is Azule he was just nose to nose with a kitty on the right. You can still see her nose and the digital motion blur is from low-light long-exposure and the cat turning to run away.

Another whisker Wednesday. A story told in two photos: #cats #catsofbluesky #whiskerwednesday

Cat lays belly up on a rug, her face looks at the camera, her paws playfully clutching her chest.

The kitty springs into action with one outstretched paw bearing claws into the rug.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Azul the pug nuzzles the top of Luna's head while she lay sunbathing on a rug.

Azul rests his head on Luna's shoulder. Tha dark features of his pug face contrast her fawn neck. Her tiny little face is curled up and burrowing into him.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Happy times. #pugs #rescuepugs

Azul the pug sits on a deck mid yawn, mouth open so wide he looks to be laughing.

Luna in the foreground, Azul blurry in the back. They lay basking in the sunshine.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

This was uncalled for, but also funny. They were just playing but it looks like Luna just smacks Azul. #dogs #pugs #rescuepugs

Luna in the foreground right, looks back at her bestie, Azul.

Smack! Blurred from motion. Dog on right smacks dog on left.

Azul on the left plots his response to Luna and her slap. She keeps her paw on his face to keep him away.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

This pug in in panda-mode. #rescuepug #dogs #blueskydogs

Sun shines down on a pug, eyes closed, most of his torso is leaning, but the perspective makes him look much bigger and wider as result, like a sumo wrestler body. His face resembles a panda with the dark parts around his eyes and nose.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

#whiskerwednesday #cats

Millie had awoken in time to catch me taking this photo. This is the look right before treats are expected. You can imagine the purring.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 19/05/2026

They were touching noses. Then I try to capture the moment and they both said "nope". #cats #dogs #pug

On the left blurry face of cat in retreat from the pug face on the right. The moment I went to take the photo Millie turned away. They had been touching noses.

In the front a cat looks sour faced as if a nap was disturbed. In the background a pug dog looks on wondering why she is cat.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

Being this cute is exhausting. #whiskerwednesday #cats

The adorable Millie lay on her side clutching her paws close to her chest.

Friday!! #Cats #Catsofbluesky

Millie shows intrigue in the device taking her photo. She is sniffing at the lens and the angle makes her face look much more round than usual.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

Blurry photo. They were falling asleep while begging for snacks I didn't have.

Blurry photo of two pugs digs. Skinny Luna on the left leans into her thick buddy Azul on the right. The low light was due to early hour of day.

Caturday close-up #cat #catsofbluesky #caturday

Close up of a tabby face, whiskers very prominent and white. She caught me trying to take her photo while she was asleep an hasn't decided how she feels about that but clearly is anticipating a treat as the toll for waking her.

Cat and Pugs of Happy Valley @aldringo.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

Four photos to tell the story: 1) "Do you have food?" 2) "Do you???" 3) "What's that?" 4) "Maybe they have food." Happy Friday! #Dogs #Dogsofbluesky #pug #rescuepugs

Had to zoom from across the room hence the blurry parts. Millie never let's us capture her sleeping in this pose. #whiskerwednesday #catsofbluesky #cats

Slightly out of focus, zoomed in photo of a cat sleeping. Her paws are clutched together close to her chest. A rare chance photo as she normally senses and moves before one can capture her image.
