New polling reveals 66% of New Zealanders support a cancer warning label on alcohol products. Similarly in Australia, 72% support health warning labels on alcohol. It's time for mandated health warnings on alcohol products across our 2 countries to empower consumers to make informed choices.

Media release: Cancer Council research estimates over 8.6million Australians would think that alcohol products labelled as low sugar or low carb are better for them. We are urging Food Ministers to request a review of FSANZ’s recent decision to permit these claims on alcohol labels & in advertising.

Alcohol continues to contribute to significant harm in Australia. A new study from NDRI revealed that since Covid there has been an increase in hospitalisations for alcohol-related liver disease. It's time for governments to prioritise action to reduce alcohol-related harms in Australia.

19 April was World Liver Day, a day to raise awareness of liver disease & promote ways to improve liver health. The liver plays a key role in breaking down alcohol. Alcohol use can contribute to liver damage & diseases. It’s time for governments to take more action to reduce alcohol-related harms.
