It's an incredibly fun idea, to invite the listener in, like a black hole, have all sorts of interesting bits for fans to explore. This creates a totally unique album experience; in my opinion, Aesop has really gone above with his recent albums, expanding on these concepts he builds for his albums.

Altogether, this album is a send-off, a goodbye, an elegy. The day is soon to be over, the balls travel toward the horizon and out of sight. It's a somber theme yet the music is playful; possibly sharing that while goodbyes our sad, we should enjoy the last bit of time we have.

The cover was created by legendary album cover artists Hipgnosis, and it's discussed in Aubrey Powell's book, Vinyl: The Complete Hipgnosis Catalogue. In the book, Aubrey shares some light detail about the creation of the cover and their time in Morocco.

Watsky, Intention (2023) The final album is Intention (2023), which released slightly more than two years ago. When the album was initially released, it was a 9 track LP just like the other albums, but shortly after was revealed to have 9 more track, unlocked after completing an online puzzle.

I have been a fan of clipping. since learning of their work, exploring their discography and not-so-patiently waiting for the release of Dead Channel Sky. I enjoy the music on the album, though it lacks some of the stronger noise elements that many clipping. fans love. My favorite track is Run It.

If it is a vine weevil, it's an invasive pest. This could represent the punks who are seen as pests to large corporations, or to a punk, the corporations who invade their space and make everything worse.

It could also reference a bug in a program or software, which of course is a large part of the cyberpunk world. Maybe a security vulnerability, a bug in a digital world enabling a hack or a bug in a physical world being able to access something that anything larger couldn't.

Frankly, I don't know the connection with the insect... as with the lyrics, it could be a reference to cyberpunk literature or art which I'm not familiar with. If you know, please let me know. A guess could be equating each human in a cyberpunk world with a bug—unimportant in the grand scheme.
