AK Air does not put up with anything which is why I'm a loyal flyer. The funny thing is in the late '80s early '90s (I've been flying AK Air since 1989) you were served a nice little sandwich and chips that was served in a cute wicker tray. Every tray had a little picture with a Psalm.

This story is so disturbing. My husband & I traveled the Civil Rights Trail thru MS in 2/22. I'm sorry from what we experienced the MS of 2026 is no different than the MS of 1955 & Emmett Till. I'll 🙏 for justice but I don't expect it.

Dispensational theology has been going on for a long time. Lord Balfour was a firm dispensationalist & pushed for the State of Israel to speed up the 2nd coming. Under Reagan the US military brought in groups like Focus on the Family to push Evangelical theology. People just let it go & here we are.

What a brave mother. For ten years I oversaw my State's TEFRA Medicaid program & met 100s of families just like this. It is 💔 to think that all that hard work to help families like this receive the needed care just go away. Shame on this country.

Except that Omaha is a Blue Dot & just elected a D mayor (and 1st black mayor who took office this past Monday). If they start raiding the meat packing plants in Garden City, KS or pork plants in Iowa, then the theory of only "blue" will not hold water

In the early 00s I read an article by a journalist who attended a charismatic Praise & Worship youth gathering somewhere in CA. The journalist noted all the references to warfare in the lyrics & the emotional charge. He said it would not be long until these kids could be ready for real "war".

We did a trip in '22 following the Civil Rights Trail in MS. We spent 4 days there. When we were done & driving out we vowed never to return. As an interracial couple we did not feel safe the entire 4 days we were there.

Umm what about HIPAA? I don't know but I only retired from our state Medicaid program in 2020, but last I heard HIPAA was still a real law. So how can he access medical records to start this database. I can't see every parent agreeing to this.

Alaskan here - well true, the hard right GOP are doing everything they can to end RCV. Yes, they've lost twice, but they are out gathering signatures again to get RCV on the '26 ballot. In '24 the pro RCV barely prevailed. It is always a close vote.
