It goes without saying that my boyo here, Garik, was HEAVILY inspired by a number of characters from Fire Emblem, but Greil (Ike's father) was very influential.
While it's not explicitly stated, it's partially what inspired the scars on his dominant arm, and the use of the shoulderpad.
