I live in the Caribbean. We now have 10 Stealth Bombers on Puerto Rico and Military moving onto St. Croix. I lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis. A Navy pilot friend flew reconnaissance missions over Cuba. We were so close to war. Thank goodness we had Kennedy and NOT Neandrethal like Trump.

Indeed, how will you use your power? Everyone of us has some sort of power. At 75 with some medical issues I'm no longer able to get out to protest. However, I CAN, try to educate people through posts, texts and shares of good and challenging information such as this video. We all can do something.

I think Ketanji Brown Jackson's dissents are an important exception to the "Supreme Court dissents don't matter" rule of thumb, because she is using them not to argue with the conservative justices, but to explain to the public that the conservative justices are liars and in the tank for Trump

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida. If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

There wasn't going to be a resolution of this where Abrego Garcia went right back to ordinary life in Maryland with a path to potential citizenship. We demanded his return so he could receive due process and contest allegations before his ability to remain here was determined. That now will happen.
