Alan Solomon @alansolomon.bsky.social · 13/02/2025I know most people who use Ars #Goetia tend not to work with the whole of The Lemegeton, since Goetia was translated on its own by Mathers/Crowley but, I also highly recommend looking into the second book, Ars Theurgia Goetia. It is a book of elemental, aerial spirits. Think of it like alchemy. 120
Alan Solomon @alansolomon.bsky.social · 13/02/2025I do wonder how many people have ever used Ars #Goetia to tackle shadow work. For me, thus far, it is super effective. 030
Alan Solomon @alansolomon.bsky.social · 13/02/2025It’s interesting to have an immersive experience of spirits. I have never tried anything like this with a grimoire. I wonder what the outcome will be after maybe a year of daily workings from The Lemegeton. 020

Alan Solomon @alansolomon.bsky.social · 07/02/2025I also very much enjoy experimenting with traditional magic material in ways you wouldn’t expect. Using the ash of a burnt spirit seal as an ingredient in a magic powder, combining Wiccan candle magic with sigils, prayers and other folk magic ideas. Things like that. #witchsky #chaosky #occult 160
Alan Solomon @alansolomon.bsky.social · 07/02/2025I have a weird practice that bridges both traditional magic and chaos magic. I absolutely love the grimoires and I do enjoy doing things as close as I can get to how it is written. It’s about transformation, facing reality, and working with what is. If someone tells you to “just raise your vibration” while you’re struggling, remind them: magic isn’t about avoidance, it’s about power. 1534
