The 500 is so weird. 100mi range is actually a problem and they seem to make like 6 of them a year so they’re just not available

My first car was a 03 mini so they’d be tempting but 1) bmw maintenance and 2) we do occasionally drive up to SF and will not have a second car so stayed away from them. Also they lost a lot of their fun visual design over the years :(

It sounds like they learned from sts to make a better board game and learned from the board game to make a better sts2

The car market still sucks this is the smallest thing I could find that isn’t a 100mi range italian joke and it’s a foot longer than my fit (with less internal room?) but the driving experience is just way better! 1 pedal driving is great, instant power, can’t imagine wanting a sport mode, silent 👍

Had this kia ev3 for a week now (desperately trying to resist being car brained) and it’s crazy how much better an ev is than a gas car? Some of it is new car vibes, some is the assistive driving stuff my ‘17 fit didn’t have but it’s just way better to drive than anything else? And free power?

Also this runs in to the inverse of the problem I have with solo play board games; why set up all the chits and bullshit when I could just play a videogame? If we’re playing board games on an ipad that costs as much as an ipad… just play video games! Mario kart is more fun than monopoly!

A matte 2ft x 2ft (or 3x3) display to replace the actual board of all your board games could be sick for all my silly tabletop games but I think i’d rather spend $500 on a stack of neoprene mats that weigh less, store better, and don’t have to be recharged… and you’d want a full 40k 44x60” one…

Base coated with a dark purple red and then a grey green zenithal for a weird undercoat. These were the shade and highlight colors for the model, only using ivory for the bread. Then just picking midtones and mixing the different shades! Fun!

Finished up a #quar sandwich carrier unit and trying out a new camera lens? Vintage MC Volna-9 lens on my fuji xt-20. It’s a nice macro lens that seems excellent down to ~1:3, but has some weird ghosting/light abberations at max 1:2 macro. Lends some interesting character! #minipainting #macro
