Keown asked him that and he couldn’t answer. Said he didn’t wanted future punishment as these players don’t deserve that but also didn’t like the idea of stripping of titles. So basically he said there should be no punishment. Awful pundit, doesn’t disprove that people think footballers are thick

The worse part about tomorrow’s game is that IF City’s results do get scrubbed at the end of the season is we lose any points gained tomorrow but lose and we lose nothing. Tomorrow is just a chance to let the authorities know just how angry football fans really are with City’s cheating

Think that was at the start of the whole thing, the meeting and offer of a fine and small points deduction, but with City’s refusal to admit to any guilt at all has changed many clubs stances, well at least I hope it has.

Had something similar years ago. Wanted a week off in November for anniversary of mums death, booked it in April and was accepted. Week before told had to cancel as short staffed, handed my notice in 15 minutes later. Next day manager said I could have week off, said to late I was done and gone.
