Honestly I hate the 'best country in the world' line even if it's coming from a good place. Are we better than France, Finland or Portugal? Why should we care? It's not a competition. I can love many facets of my country without needing it to be the 'best'. Even if we are 🤷‍♂️

Has 7 Bundesliga clubs? Has 7 Serie A clubs? Has 7 La Liga clubs? I wouldn't have it in my list, but it's pretty unique I think?

He is the worst of people. One of the people that have enabled the current shitstorm. But...still surprising from him.

Ohh! I had lots of those but had completely forgotten. Wow - that's a real nostalgia hit.

I would have thought it was a fairly average area in London. But yeah, agreed, it's not Reform country.

Alan @alanempty.bsky.social · 02/05/2025

Yeah you should probably research the area because it's...not that.

His Micronauts art was so good.

I didn't know that - that's lovely to hear. I understand why people might feel he is under-rated though. I'd have him up there with Kirby and Kubert for DC/Marvel artists from the 60s-80s, but I'm not sure he gets quite that level of aclaim.
