I got to the ghost-fucking episode of TNG today and it is so much worse than I remember. Ned's "Scottish" accent is definitely from the James Doohan School of Scottish Accents, and the character claiming to be from 1600s Glasgow has a very southern English accent.

The stupidest thing I've lost because of my chronic illness is the ability to wear normal clothes. If I wear anything with an elastic waistband tight enough to not fall down, it triggers a gastroparesis flare. Pants, tights, leggings, skirts or whatever. The phrase "control top" makes me queasy.

My father in law has been in and out of the hospital with recurring infections for the past 6 months. I have never told my side of the family when he's been sick. None of the UK side of the family are Christians. No one prays, but he still gets better and worse the same as anyone else. 🤔
