Having gotten on the metro going the wrong direction here in Kharkiv once, I decided to take it to the end.... The metro is free and my time is, at times, of little perceived value. I enjoyed the ride.The relaxation was worth the time spent. #Ukraine #Kharkiv #StandYourGround

Multiple days last week, Kharkiv civilian infrastructure was attacked by Ruzzian drones. The power at my apartment was out for about 2 hours after one of these attacks. Yeah, I still have a temperature/humidity sensor in my freezer. #Ukraine #Kharkiv #StandYourGround

Here's a bit of audio that I recorded from my patio a while back... We don't post any information on social media while an attack is ongoing, waiting for the authorities to post before we do. No reason to help the enemy with battle damage assessment. Photos or video of air defense is a big no-no.

I've been blessed in Ukraine to be able to live in close proximity to a pair of really cool cats. Yeah, the people I hang out with are interesting, but these sphinx cats, Jackson and Marsik are truly amazing. Jackson is the more outgoing of the two, thus the photo.. Marsik is older and more timid.

Thanks a kind donor, we were able to distribute 76,800 1ml syringes to Kharkiv hospitals and an animal rescue group. I had no clue as to how large a shipment it was when I agreed to assist in the distribution. Слава Україні! Слава волонтерам!

I assist multiple individuals (my friends) as we figure out how to live our lives in a country that is in the middle of a full scale invasion. I work in a bakery making bread that is distributed to hospitals and care facilities in my spare time.

There was a report the other day about a relatively new type of drone. It's a very simple contraption that carries a TM-62 anti-tank mine. While it's very inefficient in the use of the mine, it's still a terror when it rams into a civilian apartment building and throws shrapnel in all directions.

I work at Hell's Kitchen - #Kharkiv. We have a bakery and mains producing around 1,300 meals per day. One of the jobs given to new volunteers is the daily cleaning of the industrial dough mixer.
