He was very much in the realm of John Britten. Both doing their own thing, excelling and unfortunately passing away all too soon. Both greatly missed.

Exactly. Racing breeds innovation, and that us why MotoE should have stayed. The last gen bikes were already somewhere around 30kgs lighter than the previous Gen ones!

No, i think they knew EXACTLY what they were doing! 😂🫡

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

You know, you could just tow a caravan. They are quite spacious and your truck could be normal.

Does he take "Starship Troopers" as a role model to follow?

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I complained for YEARS about the video and timing being out of sync. There fix was to be able to halt the timing page until it was caught up by the video, then unpausing it.

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

When you say 'narrowly' escaped...fuuuuck! Thank God he moved when he did!

090

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Well, it ain't gonna get any better if they don't attend! How hard can it be to get 22 highly competitive men in one room to try to come to a common benef....oh, right.

100

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Flip side of that would be that with so few of the riders present, why should they take their views into consideration when it's only 4 guys asking for it?

110

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Jeffrey Archer. Reports after his death have been greatly exaggerated.

040

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I heard that Alex Marquez ran on the long lap route to clean it! Hehe, if so, INSPIRED GENIUS.

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Still a disappointing calendar for a 'World' championship. No USA, no Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia. Indonesia, South Africa. Nice to see China though.

020

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Can I be the only one who doesn't like the Baggers? They just do nothing for me and run fewer bikes over as many laps as the old MotoE bikes (but weigh more).

230

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Not much you can do if no one wants a (rev) limit! I just can't see 850's going any slower (lap time wise). 800's were pretty rapid!

100

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Could they not have just reduced the rev limit to say, 13, 14k and kept them 1000cc? Ban aero parts as and when they needed to be, and got rid of ride height devices front and rear and have done.

Thank you. He was my best bud. Goldies are just the best! You have a beautiful boy too! 🐕❤️

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

It was every time. I miss my boy Rosco.🥲

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Aye, it surprised me when I saw his name in the credits at the time!

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Running Man though, was Paul Michael Glaser who directed it. (Starsky from S&H)

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Total Recall and RoboCop are two of my all time fav films. Any time they are on, I have to watch!

020

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

They just aren't even trying at this point. This is still the gold standard.

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Somehow WORSE than the old Terry's chocolate orange with legs MotoGP trophy

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

You could have one in COTA, or Baku and it would make more sense.

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

44 this year (inc Sprints) Too many by a long way!

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I'd love to see Bezz do it, but yeah, he's making too many errors when you have MM93 involved.

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It could be fixed quite easily. Just race somewhere else that actually has a good track.

001

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Dawww! You a good man! Keeping your Doggo comfy. 🫡

050

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Hi, I can't talk about specifics per se, but you get assigned vehicles and make them. Wish I could say more...

110

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I've watched WSBK since its inception and these last few years i have struggled to get any enthusiasm to watch. The season only having ONE non-european round doesn't help either.

110

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Why is that waste of space being given TV time to spout shite on it? Also, why is Milo on as well?

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Also, famously the location as the finale of Monty Python's "Holy Grail" movie.

0220

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Well...I'm sure he's learned his lesson and won't DRIVE WHILE BANNED...will he? Honestly, 17 previous convictions and he only got a 30 month driving ban? WTF?

030

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

As someone who just moved away from the area (was there about 10 years) yeah....wait till Oct-April! Seattle has two seasons. RAIN and Sunny! 😂Still liked living there though!

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

If the wind is blowing in the other direction, won't it just make it REALLY windy for folks living nearby? (jk) 😂

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

It's a full 37 minutes before any major character speaks in Steve McQueen's (1971) Le Mans movie.

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Just sell the rental car. Problem solved...

020

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

He should have to start this race from Silverstone.

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

The LEAST popular venue. Yeah, I listened to Sylvain Guintoli talk about how much he disliked Balaton Park!

010

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

He's beginning to make that award look rather foolish.

000

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Fair enough, it's not one of my favourites personally. How many spectators do they get nowadays?

200

Alan Duncan @alan-duncan.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Can't say as I will miss the Qatar round.
