If you are a teacher or journalist (thread)🧵 There was never a "civil war" or "ethnic conflict" in Ukraine. There was never any kind of "Russian language ban." The founders of the "separatist republics" were Russian nationalists/warlords/agents from Moscow, not coal miners from Donbas.
