So tonight I'm going to (attempt to) start Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magic. It's an old CRPG with some of the original Fallout team behind it, and apparently has a better "Dumb" playthrough than even Fallout did. Here's hoping it enjoys being screen captured 🤣

Blades in the dark has a progressive injury system that takes effort to heal. 3 Tiers of injury with two slots each except for the third (severe harm), if both of the first slots are full any injury is placed on the second, etc. Further explanation of the example is in alt text for space reasons.

Drained and battered are in the bottom row, lesser harm, giving reduced effects on actions.

The second row, moderate harm, is empty, which would give 1 less die on rolls.

The top row, sever harm has Shattered Right leg, incapacitating the character entirely.
