Senator Katie Britt’s face in this clip says it all. This is what happens when your collegue builds a massive perjury accusation on a poster board without checking whether you mean the Atlanta Hawks or the Iowa Hawkeyes. Soundbites over substance. #unmutealabama

When consumer confidence drops to 10-year lows, it isn't just a sentiment issue. It's a reflection of household reality. Job openings are down 256,000, with construction and manufacturing taking heavy hits. Meanwhile, everyday essentials like housing, groceries, and gas continue to squeeze budgets.

Alabama families need affordable food, and Alabama cattle producers need a fair market. Trump’s beef import plan promises lower grocery prices, but the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association says cattle markets have already fallen sharply. Farmers are paying now for savings consumers may never see. #Unmute

Jerry Carl calls Clyde Jones a “no-name.” Jones served 21 years in the Army, retired as a first sergeant, earned a Bronze Star, served in two wars, and became a minister and community advocate. Money can buy name recognition. Service builds a record. #UnmuteAlabama

Tommy Tuberville has not announced a plan to privatize Alabama’s retirement system. But he has called Social Security a Ponzi scheme, praised privatization and promoted private market investments as the alternative. #UnmuteAlabama

Election integrity begins with the integrity of the information our election officials share. Caroleene Dobson says New York City will require state IDs to shop at its proposed municipal grocery stores. That claim is false.

The University of Alabama System says LGBTQ+ students and employees remain protected from discrimination, even after it removed explicit references to sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression from its policies. We should hold the university to that promise. #UnmuteAlabama

Congress created a $50B rural-health fund lasting five years while cutting more than $1T from Medicaid over a decade. Alabama received $203M from that temporary fund. That’s Washington handing rural healthcare a bucket after damaging the plumbing. #UnmuteAlabama

Republicans said abortion policy belonged to the states. Now Sen. Katie Britt has joined a court brief seeking to end mail-order mifepristone nationwide. An in-person mandate would hit rural and working women hardest. Freedom shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code. #UnmuteAlabama

Alabama made progress reducing infant mortality in 2024. That's worth celebrating. But 41 counties still have no hospital delivering babies. Progress isn't the finish line. It's motivation to keep building healthier communities where every family has access to the care they need. #UnmuteAlabama

If the numbers reveal a problem, stop collecting the numbers. Problem “solved.” The EEOC may end 60 years of workforce demographic reporting. The data shows white men remain the only group overrepresented in corporate leadership. Stopping the measurement doesn’t eliminate discrimination.

Huh? After 15 years of complete Republican control, Alabama’s problems cannot credibly be blamed on a lack of Republican power. The question for voters is whether the same party that created today’s problems should be trusted to conduct its own cleanup. #RepublicansCantGovern #VoteForDemocrats

State employees keep essential services running. Now their health plan faces a projected $38.5M shortfall, declining reserves and possible benefit changes. Workers deserve transparency and shouldn’t be forced to carry the burden through higher costs or weaker coverage. #RepublicansCantGovern

The Navy recently selected 22 captains for promotion to admiral. None were women. Since December, 29 Navy admiral promotions or assignments have gone to men and none to women. This is about military readiness, merit and political interference. America cannot afford to sideline qualified leaders.

2.6 MIL had to drop their health insurance plans this year because costs became too high. Following the January expiration of federal premium credits, monthly bills doubled or tripled for working people. The soaring cost of living is making basic necessities unaffordable for the working class.

Patriotism isn't something you prove by reciting a pledge. It's paying workers fairly. It's making sure veterans can get healthcare. It's protecting Social Security and Medicare. It's investing in public schools. Loving America means taking care of Americans. #UnmuteAlabama

Deep disappointment comes from love. If I didn't love America, I wouldn't care about the direction we're heading. Patriotism isn't pretending everything is perfect. It's believing this country can do better...and refusing to stop working until it does. That's the America I'm proud to fight for.

These aren't "visa overstays." The Haitians in Alabama have been here legally under TPS, with background checks, work authorization, and jobs that help power our poultry and agricultural industries. Removing legal workers doesn't just affect these families. 🧵 #UnmuteAlabama

Ahead of tomorrow’s Alabama AG runoff, candidates are debating lethal injection vs. firing squads for inmate Jeffery Lee after SCOTUS halted his nitrogen gas execution. The missing context? The jury actually voted 7-5 for LIFE. A single judge used "judicial override" and imposed the death penalty

Senator Katie Britt says "failure is not an option" for ramming through an extra $350B for defense contractors on top of a $1.1 TRILLION baseline. Funny how failure is always an option when it comes to health care, environment protections, and basic infrastructure for actual humans.

Corporate growth is NOT the same thing as community prosperity. If a 3-million-square-foot data center arrives in a rural community, but local residents still don't have working sewage systems, who actually won? It’s time to stop treating rural Alabama like a sacrifice zone. #UnmuteAlabama

Happy Pride Month. 🌈 This year feels different. For many LGBTQ+ Americans, progress that once felt secure now feels uncertain. Public debate has grown harsher. Online hostility is spilling into real life. Every generation inherits unfinished work. That's why Pride still matters. #UnmuteAlabama

DOJ has entered Alabama's redistricting case on the state's side. For decades, marginalized communities looked to the Justice Department for protection of voting rights. Today, the DOJ is arguing against the court-ordered map that created Alabama's second opportunity district for Black voters.

Memorial Day travel is going to be more expensive. For a lot of families, higher gas prices aren’t an abstract economic debate. It’s whether they can afford the trip, the cookout, or the extra drive to see family. Working people absorb the costs of instability long before politicians do.
