The deal is a good one. It separates DHS funding from the rest. Which is what we want so we can demand changes to DHS. FBI is just following orders, they have a grand jury warrant and are peacefully arresting them to be processed. They will be released today or tomorrow.

They aren't supposed to carry guns nor harass people one the street ask8ng for their papers. It's against procedure for them to do so. ICE we see on the streets aren't HSI. HSI are the ones who investigate crimes, like cops do.

Bitter disappointment in the game. I like their male characters too. But on top of repeatedly having issues with the game on pc. They now bricked it in the latest update. Their discord and reddit is filled with issues from the game. I'm now installing it on a 5 year old phone I got working again.

What's happened to Kerr County & the rest of the Hill Country is something extremely painful yet not surprising because of the refusal of the GOP to acknowledge the danger of Climate Change & invest in preventionssuch as sirens. Then DOGE decimated NOAA/NWS & FEMA shut down all grants & trainings.

This is the story. It was a perfect storm of various things that caused this. Number 1, no sirens. Kerr county has been trying since 2016 to get sirens. But faced opposition from those who didn't want to raise taxes or spend $ on it. Thread of articles below explain the situation.
