All you need to do is highlight a word and then choose “Look Up” and you get an answer. (You may have to take an extra step “Search Web”). Then you get a quick pop up with the definition. No need to sound like an old stick in the mud. (Saves me from that fate several times a day.)

Attempts to assimilate everyone to a white Protestant, English speaking unity haven’t obliterated indigenous languages and cultures. Close in some cases, but people know, deep down, who they are. Appreciating our diverse ways of knowing the world makes us all better people.

Corruption is not easy to explain in sound bites. It’s often well hidden through dummy organizations and other sleight of hand maneuvers. Katie Phang does an amazing job of clearly connecting all the dots. Well worth watching the whole video. Then follow up on the denials of your local officials.

They erased Republican from Dan J on the ballot and added incumbent to the senator‘s name. So I’m guessing most people who voted for Dan J knew what they were doing and did it because the GOP tried to get him off the ballot.

My adult son was in the bike lane when an impatient driver thought the bike lane would be faster. Son flew about 30 feet. I’m glad he was wearing his helmet. Head was okay. The broken ribs and collar bone healed long ago.
