And www.yellowknifebooks.com Yellowknife Books. What a selection! What a place to browse! #books #localbookstore
The coffee table area in Yellowknife Books, with a man with a backpack looking at the shelves. The chairs are cheerful: pink, yellow, green, with a floral patterned two-seater. The space is open and airy with lots of filled shelves.

Finally confirmed a knitting thing I suspected. 1x1 ribbing can be beautifully bound off tubular-style with minimal fuss if you are doing Russian-style purls. The stitches end up mounted in just the right orientation. #knitting
Knitted toque in progress with 1x1 ribbing partially bound off in tubular style. Edge flares slightly but edge stitches are supported.

Oooh lovely. I’m a sucker for blue-green gradients. One of my swatches ended up as a baby blanket, and another as a pillow (with entrelac on the other side)
Joined knitted squares from downscaling the “Hue Shit Blanket” pattern, in blues greens and yellows. With paper and ruler for scale.Work in progress on entrelac knitting pattern with blues, greens, and yellows.
