They should make a miniseries biopic about Sequoyah. The history of the Cherokee Nation from the 1770s to 1840s is super interesting (as well as something I want to learn more about, in general), and Sequoyah had more of a role in it than just inventing an alphabet.

Proof that pi is irrational: Consider the following table. If pi=A/B, the values are an integer multiple of 1/B^n, but they tend to zero super-exponentially. QED (Actually this shows that pi^2 is irrational)

The best elaboration on "season to taste" I've ever seen
6. Ask your mouth, "Do you want to drink more?" If your mouth says yes, you've got the seasoning right. Are you kind of like, "This is okay but....?" You might need to season it a bit more. You can add more sugar or lemon juice, or even a pinch of salt.

Given that Mandarin has the ü sound, why is Ürümchi transliterated as Wūlǔmùqí in Chinese rather than Yulümuqi? (Ürümchi in Uyghur is /ʏrʏmˈtʃi/, Wulumuqi is /ulumut͡ɕʰi/, and Yulümuqi is /ylymut͡ɕʰi/. The tones are irrelevant, but if you write it 于旅木齐 it could be Yúlǚmùqí.)

Math is all about theorems. For instance, the Riemann existence theorem says there exist people named Riemann. The Riemann series theorem says there's more than one of them. The Riemann mapping theorem says that we don't know where they are. And the Riemann hypothesis says, maybe they're friendly.

Here's a function whose zeros are precisely 1 and the primes. The first term checks for primarily uses Wilson's theorem (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilson%...); the second term checks that it's an integer.
