iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Why not just listen to the music on a streaming service or buy the music if possible? A rhythm game for already existing music shouldn't have to offer you a basic music player function.

I do however always try to reason why it's bad. For example by saying many players will be driven away by such monetisation or that logging into a game 3 times per day leads to burn out way quicker than daily log ins.

000

Some of the events had "ranked points" you earn per song and minigame played which were also doubled by the HoloPassport so quite literally pay to win. The current event is just using the highest score you've gotten for the event songs (which still get 10% boosts for current banner characters)

At least a third of my feedback to the Hololive Dreams devs is just calling them out on their horrendous monetisation attempt via HoloPassport. It doubles the limit of energy held so you don't have to log in 3 times per day to not waste any energy +

Today's Warframe lesson: Set menus up properly to not confuse the players. If I select a mod to then be able to access a new feature where a big list of similar mods is which can be selected to combine stats then I'm thinking I am combining stats of two mods and not just 2 stats of one mod...

000

Card game: If the player who finished the game doesn't have the lowest amount of points (lowest wins) they'll have to double their points. Feels like at that point it doesn't matter anymore which place you are if you aren't first place despite ending the game.

This is funny to see after growing up with Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast and years later learning that every port got worse than the one before

Sonic makes an official Discord server. I didn't think much about that until I read some comments and realised part of the community can be rather unhinged. Let's just hope this ends well...

000

Finally taking the time to organize my backup folder so it isn't 5 different copies from 3 different times making the entire folder way larger in size than it should be. And then looking where I can back that up so at least that mess won't stop me from looking at Linux anymore.

000

Out of nowhere Firefox told me it's no longer the default browser and asked if I want to set it back to default browser. I used my PC just as always and Windows did not install any updates. Wtf is wrong with Microsoft...

000

I may lack the necessary creativity for Dressmaker but I'm definitely recommending it to people who might like it. (The very few people I know who don't know the game already)

Me typing "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" on my phone. My Phone while typing dungeon: düngen? But it got Mystery right when I just typed M 😂

Listened to NEVER from Neuro and Evil for the first time. I did not expect the lyrics to go that deep. Honestly incredible how much thought went into the lyrics and how much food for thought it gives you.

Fun fact regarding the Metroid fan album: So far I have only touched 2 Metroid games and not finished either 😅

AkireTora @akiretora.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

All of the albums not from games or anime are from my parents (mostly my father because my mother mostly listens to christian music). It's also in no particular order and I just chose whatever I remember got me through some depressive phases. You also may see Sonic as just Adventure or many games.

Linkin Park - Meteora ;
Sonic Adventure Original Soundtrack ;
Genesis - Live / The Way We Walk ;
Limp Bizkit - Greatest Hitz ;
Nightwish - Highest Hopes: The Best of Nightwish ;
Sting - Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984 - 1994 ;
Schandmaul - Anderswelt ;
Shinesparkers - Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run ;
Skankfunk - AIR GEAR WHAT A GROOVY TRICK!! ;

The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

TL:DW: The EU is proposing laws that will (*also retroactively*) require any online game to have rigorous age verification and present massive fines to any developers who do not comply. Their definition of "online" is incredibly vague and could include *any games sold on a digital store front.*

Finding cool music and then finding out rather bad things about the musician always annoys me so much. I just want to enjoy things without always wondering what or who's behind it...

Game with a story about AI taking control over the world's machines but the focus lies on funny tank beats the shit out of the enemies by hitting them with the tank itself. Devs use gen AI...

Sometimes I just get hung up on details like this even though barely anyone cares about it that much.

Commpletely random thought for giving people money. Saying "You will have fun with it" would mean no paying rent or something like that. "You will use it as you want" means if you actually don't want to pay rent then it's still off limits. So it would have to be more like "Use it as you see fit".

Playable demo of Michael Schumacher Kart Racing on the disc 😲

I would also say I like the story but I will have to play the game again before I do that. I haven't played it at a time where I really tried to understand what's going on.

I just really love how absolutely incredibly detailed the places in FFXII are for a PS2 game. And the gameplay is a wonderful "don't mind the small stuff if you set things up right" so no need to select attack every time and even some spells you'd just spam anyway.

I just realised something about one of my favorite games, Final Fantasy XII. There's no character in that game where I would say that really is my favorite character. If anything I'd have characters who I prefer not to have as the active party members. And still this is one of my favorite games.

AkireTora @akiretora.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Todays feedback from me to a mobile game that is also available on steam feels silly: Please don't do PvP games that feel rather lackluster compared to PC and console games. Especially when you need timed resources to play the games. For other resources you definitely need...
