i would prefer if more games should expect you to play the previous ones. books expect you to do it, many movies expect you to do it. i want more devs to treat sequels like they do expansions. soon after the beginning, the content should be harder and expect more from me than the previous game.

i do not understand the hype behind these controllers. i want to like them, but i think the face buttons feel awful compared to the Gulikit KingKong Pro. they’re not clicky enough, nor tall enough. they feel shallow and mushy to me. the sticks are great, however.

they should’ve sold Monolith instead of obliterating it. those Middle-Earth games were not only quality releases, but i felt that they were far from “missing the mark”. this is incompetence if i’ve ever seen it. they don’t understand their market, so they must feign that they do.

I think what’s so frustrating is executives talking about “getting swagger back” by releasing good games *in order to* increase investment, whereas every dev I know just wants to release good games when they’re ready *in order to* keep sustainably making good games that players like.

i still romanticize the times i would stroll to class, get back home and have tons of street passes. occasionally, i’d even meet those people. they’d be sit on their 3DS and I’d approach them. we’d add each other and I’d recognize their username from all the times our paths crossed. so sick.
