Revealing the title of the second book in my duology tomorrow and I am currently making heart eyes at the first cover sketches for it…things have been rough lately but nothing beats this feeling 💕

Bc the people of threads peer pressured me, bsky gets it too! A two sentence pitch for my upper YA romantasy on submission rn: To uncover the truth of her brother’s k!ller, Merridan will raise the dead. There’s just one problem: she’s summoned the wrong ghost. 🌊 💀

The easiest way to know how my mental health is doing is to ask me how many books I’m reading at one time. Because the answer should always be 1. Always. Right now? I’m in the middle of five books at once. EVEN I DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. Consider yourselves warned 😅

When I went on submission with my debut, I celebrated by commissioning artwork for it. Did the same with the second book I went on sub with. And now I’m commissioning art for my third book that’s out on submission now !!! and I genuinely cannot wait to see these characters come to life 🥹

Going on sub with a new project this week and what do you MEAN this isn’t any less intimidating than the first two times 😭

Traditional Publishing Truth Bomb: * most writers don't get special editions and sprayed edges * most writers are not sent on book tour, and if you see them, they planned & paid themselves * most books won't hit any lists * most books won't sell movie/TV rights * most authors have to hustle

r/resurrection: I tried to summon my unalived brother’s spirit but now I’m stuck with the bratty crown prince of our rival kingdom 😫 what do I do?? #YA #F #R #OS #AG #UnhingedPit

A meme with four images. The first is a piece of paper that says “Resurrecting people is heathen behavior”. The next is SpongeBob looking at the paper. The last two are SpongeBob throwing it into a fire while smiling.

A couple is making out. They’re labeled the MC and the newly resurrected love interest. The second image zooms out to show a person standing by awkwardly, labeled the MC’s brother who was m*rdered for the inciting incident

“My brother was k!lled” = panic
“I worship the Goddess of Justice, she’ll handle it” = calm
“The Goddess refuses to launch an investigation” = panic

My spouse just said, “So I have the kind of ADHD that makes me really funny and interesting. You have the kind of ADHD that makes you overstimulated at all times.” And I did not appreciate being perceived and insulted at the same time 😂
