I want to recapture that feeling of being a child and highly impressionable, that wow factor, you know? I'm only getting older; we all are. I like this sort of older/mature vibe the Switch 2 is giving off. Plus some of the less than popular games I want to give a second chance like Wild Hearts S.

Uhhh...I can explain... Yeah it's not what it looks like... I maybe kinda bought this on impulse after doing plenty of research and setting out a good financial plan. Budget! I wanted to have a modern console and it's my only one. I wanted to streamline my setup, so just a PC&Switch. Less is more!

It's an old piece, but it captures this rather sentimental day. I miss you dearly; I wish you were here to see me grow, overcome hardships, and more. The tragedy of not being able to witness that, but I believe you can see me, somewhere, somehow. Please rest peacefully, and remember I love you.

Don’t let me regret this. I am gonna try to get into this having all those years on Smash. My goal is to become a decent player, enough to be considered as knowing what I’m doing and confident in myself. It will be annoying, discouraging, etc. But I believe that goal can be reached. I can do this.

Art was done by @coughingfish.bsky.social and of course I needed something to show my love for WaWa. Recently I moved and finally closed out a senseless chapter in my life and one of the last things I did was get some WaWa. You know I love my humble hoagie.🩵 Gotta hava WaWa as they say!

Six years ago today, I got my first ever piece of art. It was the first furry thing I ever bought and signified my introduction into the fandom officially. I couldn’t have ever predicted how things would’ve turned out, for better and for worse. A lot of times with Balto, I reflect and regret my past

Happy Easter/Passover to anyone who observes. I present to you an egg, a cute YCH to couple with and contrast with all the dynamic or game art I’ve been getting recently. I hope you all got some enjoyment or something good out of today. Be well. Now that I think about it, I do miss egg hunts.

Last week/week and a half ago or so, I impulsively started playing FF14 again and I really became obsessed with it. Played it more than I ever did before in my on/off relationship the game and was trying new things and learning so much. Here’s art to celebrate those good nights. To bard, with love.

Yeah, keep them coming. I hadn’t seen the trailer prior to this, so what a pleasant surprise. I appreciate the diversity in wolf skins, though I wish I’d gotten Dire who truly started all of this.

Alright, I can’t contain it anymore. But I absolutely love this game. I was actually exposed to ToN a year and a half ago or so. But only a fe games. Well recently with me getting back into VR a week ago primarily because of this game, I can say I’ve become addicted. And I’m just a desktop user!

A couple of Night In The Woods icons done by @spaceyshiba.bsky.social Get them while they’re hot. I actually have never played the game, but am aware of its popularity and such. I’ve seen people take creative inspiration from them, so it has significant influence. A wonderful job Shiba; thanks.✍️🖼️

Gift art done by @spaceyshiba.bsky.social featuring Balto and a handful of Shiba’s friends on a Christmas tree as ornaments essentially. Just wanted to post this as thanks for including and letting me be part of something bigger. I appreciate the gift and thanks for allowing me to be a part of this.

Got a capture card recently and took the cheap entry in as I wanted to not invest unreasonably in a possible new hobby in case I don’t stick with it. I’m going in with no experience and just some decent enough research. But overall it’s something I’ve been long overdue for. Here’s to some new fun.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas /Happy Holidays. I know some don’t observe it and it’s not as magical of enjoyable as it once was for me years ago, but I hope everyone found something to smile about or some good in today. Stay safe as usual and be well. You just keep smiling, Balto

Beastars S3 here I come. I will finish this myself- I watched the first two alone so I’m trying to hold myself back from not binging it all again…. But I can’t help myself, and I don’t want to help myself with this. I’ll see this through, and no, that wasn’t a blind joke, heh. Let’s do this.

Some art done recently to commemorate or rather show my fondness for zombies as that was a memorable part of my childhood. I first played in WaW and I had a good time despite not having much experience with it. Simpler times. I miss them- nevertheless, here’s to a timeless classic, iconic item.

Picture of Akela, a monochromatic-furred rabbit whose is half-blind holding the Ray Gun (Original/Mark 1) in a cautious, yet steady pose. He is holding it with both hands, his head tilted some.

Got this on impulse the other day just for the laughs and nostalgia. This takes me back years and years.

I don't get it,but there's something warming and a sense of home when I get groceries in big paper bags as opposed to the standard plastic. I just like it, oddly enough. Ultimately, it's a preference thing, but it was a nice surprise from the driver a couple days ago.

Alright, y'all. Touched up myself a little lightly as well as implementing a new FA too. Welcome in Akela, a modest and general representation of me. Borrowing and reimagining ideas and such I had for a scrapped sona, and so on. Anyhow, here's to a wondrous, honest, and heartfelt experience.

Akela @akelaeverflow.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

So a heads up for whoever, gonna be in a sense "rebranding" and updating a lot on this profile to sort of test the waters/implement a new sona and such to see if it sticks. Just passing that along so no one's surprised, and I am quite excited/hopeful for what lies ahead. Here's to a good one.

Icon done recently by @spaceyshiba.bsky.social Wanted to try a hairstyle out om Balto I've always gushed at and took a liking to. He certainly looks good, and it might couple with his demeanor. A few more icons om the way, but this a nice addition overall.

Yeah, it's time. I'm not as excited as some others are, bouncing around their rooms and such. But I'm frankly just happy to be here to witness this. Been months in the making, and I am most excited for flashy weapons and bosses more than anything. Stay well out there, and don't spoil for others.

Carpentry/woodworking or welding? Carpentry or welding? Carpentry or welding? Carpentry or welding? Which do I choose.. goodness. Decisions, decisions, decisions. They both have dangers, but both seem so rewarding. It's almost like I have a fresh slate. Paralyzed with choice. Carpentry or welding?

I want to be a dork again. But I just miss the old days of my carefree self, me before all of this. I know some of it can't be reversed, covid, etc. But a happier me, a me unconcerned with having a unique name, living up to expectations that don't exist, and so on. I just want to be Balto again.

Thinking I'll start sharing some art and such here. With all the changes made to Twitter over the last year or two, the subscription service, and more features of modern platforms continually locked behind paywalls, I want to have somewhere that's "simple" to post. Little to no strings attached.

With an introduction established, I hope to try and use this more actively than Twitter. To me, this is a lighter version meant for a different audience, perhaps? Expect gaming-related media, food be it junk or healthy, existentialism, or anything melancholic from my deep bouts of introspection.

Akela @akelaeverflow.bsky.social · 10/09/2023

Hey there/greetings. I jump between a few sonas occasionally, so excuse any confusion. Call me Bslto for now- a name that's stuck forever. I'm grateful to have another form of expression. I'll continue making my dorky and detached posts as before. Thanks to @terrasept.bsky.social for the invite!
