Here is an idea - The UK Government must bring in legislation that the owners of each data centre must build 25% more renewable energy sources than will be needed to run a data centre. It also must build a reservoir for each data centre that will hold at least twice the water that data centre needs

Now do the huge warehouses that are being built on land next to motorways with no potential buyers that cover as much farmland as solar farms would but seem to have little pushback. It can't be jobs as if they are occupied they will be largely automated providing very little local employment.

What I never understood was if billionaires want to increase their wealth why weren’t they smart enough to jump on the renewables bandwagon and monetise it to their benefit? I often thought that if the oil companies had researched electric vehicles in the 60’s they would be in a good place now.

Any MP that doesn’t support this should be deselected by their party as it them is obvious what their priorities are and it isn’t serving the people who elected them. Usual caveats apply ie doctors etc but they should not be paid for us allowing them to keep any necessary accreditation.
