Somewhere in downtown Anchorage there is free, on-street parking. I noticed this destroyed parking meter while out walking the other day. Even though – or perhaps because – the parking in the area is metered, the available spaces are rarely used. And most users pay by phone rather than using coins so it's not likely the effort was very well rewarded with cash.

The Make it Alaskan Market continues today from 10 – 6 and tomorrow from 12 – 5 at Egan Center in downtown Anchorage. Went last night to check it out. Lots of booths but I was hoping for true Alaskan 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀. There were some interesting items, some better suited for a different audience perhaps.

A promotional sticker being sold at the Make it Alaskan Market reads 'I'd rather be pegging'. It's apparently a relatively new item Cardboard Cribbage is selling. There's only one customer review (5⭐) on their website about it: "Fantastic! The box was opened during our morning meeting. The sticker was a hit! Love it."
I hope the HR manager wasn't at the meeting.

Cardboard Cribbage (https://www.cardboardcribbage.com/) will have a hard time claiming plausible deniability since they've captioned their own image of the sticker with this: "We are definitely talking about cribbage."

They know we know they're not.
