SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

@miiko22.bsky.social sets a WR time in Aero Dive by about a half second! It seems using the V2 booster is faster here due to its weight supreme speed retention and stronger booster, making it go much faster than G4 in boost laps. youtu.be/sCPxbWS7A3g?...

I need to remind everyone, especially after their presentation today. Level-5 has been very openly using Generative AI in their game development and are proud of it. This includes their newly announced titles such as New World of Steam, Yo-Kai Watch 2 and Curious Village Remake.

FPC5 Report As a competitor I'm bummed about how finals went. I wasn't fully prepared with machine choices, and the ASD choice was the dumbest decision I've made. Can't use the short notice as an excuse given I made the mod. This maybe was my best chance at winning it and I felt I blew/choked it

It's very easy to do the Split Oval jump with machines that can easily "drift" mid-air. Just steer sharply left once you catch air. Not exactly sure of all of the factors that causes this to happen. I know lower weight and a high Turn Movement value are both helpful. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPIq...
