Started working on some Halloween-themed OCs today. I've got more in progress besides these, but I wanted to get some work done on these three before I left on vacation. #WIP #art #illustration #oc #ocsky

I had that issue with a video cable on my Huion! I hope that is a similar case for you and not a larger issue! 🙏

Ugh I hate having car issues. Trying to find a used car that isn’t crazy overpriced is awful

I hate that Deadlock is still invite only, or really I should say that I hate that I don't know anyone that can send me an invite to play in the Deadlock playtest.

Spent most of the day working on this sketch of my OC. Probably spent too much time tbh, but I'm still recovering from a cold so energy is still somewhat limited. I'm happy with how it turned out. #art #sketchbook #OC

Ever since Reddit locked their old UI behind a log in I've been using reddit far less. Which overall is a good thing.

Call me cynical, but this means absolutely nothing to me because at the end of the day white people would still vote for him a third time or any of his adjacent afterwards, simply because he’s white and he has an R next to his name. American History has shown us that and proven it.

Anyways, here's a really scuffed Samus sketch. I might work on it some more tomorrow, but it was real rough. #art #sketchbook #metroid #samus

Just had a friend message a group chat about how they used AI to generate a story and poster based on an existing IP. Wtf am I doing. My closest friends don't even see me as an artist they're just busy generating stuff using the thing that's gonna prevent me from having a space to make art.

There's something really uncanny about the designs. They straddle the line between the original concept art and hyper realism and I think they went just a tad bit too far towards realism. I'm still gonna play it tho.

Anyone want to buy art from me so that I can afford a switch 2 and ocarina of time?

Increasingly convinced this is the most important post

Twitter post from January 24, 2019, from @Merman_Melville reading

"Being a billionaire must be insane. You can buy new teeth, new skin. All your chairs cost 20,000 dollars and weigh 2,000 pounds. Your life is just a series of your own preferences. In terms of cognitive impairment it's probably like being kicked in the head by a horse every day."

⚔️🔥CAPTURE QUEST: CHARIZARD🔥⚔️ I have wanted to paint this for over a decade and spent the last year of my life fighting to bring it to the finish line. Please take a look, there is a lot to see

Gargantuan illustration of a charizard redesigned in the style of a monster hunter elder dragon. There are 4 hunters attacking him and their pikapalico is readying a voltorb bomb to throw. There is so much stuff in there, I spent a damn year on this. I'm exhausted.

Almost two years ago I quit a job that constantly took more from me than it was willing to give back. Today, I have less money to spend, but I have a lot more time to pursue making art. I really can't wait for the day where I can flip the switch and make art my full time job.

I've been working on this character illustration if you want to steal the portrait for a character! I've not gotten around to naming her yet :)

I think the part that I keep seeing underneath everything is the inherent devaluing of labor. The quality of output is no longer important, as long as output quantity increases at a lower operating cost. Idk I feel like something doesn’t sit right with me but it just doesn’t seem to matter.

My work is employing more and more ai usage, all the while I feel like I’m hearing claim that people are trying to scale back the use of llms at their work. Idk I feel like I’m losing my mind and it makes me feel gross
