We were watching a young #squirrel feeding at the BIRD feeder. Suddenly a #hawk flashes over from a perch on the fence and flies off with the little squirrel. In an instant the squirrel went from eating bird food to becoming bird food.

Rcvd a rescue poodle for my 86th bday. smart dog but needs a pill twice a day. wrap a pill in cheese and offer it to him. eats around the pill and grins at me when he spits out the pill. wrap pill in cheese, drop on floor by "accident" and say "NO!". Gulps it right down. smart poodle.

One thing we are getting wrong about Juneteenth is that it’s being celebrated as a Black holiday. It’s an American holiday created by Black Americans, no different than Memorial Day (created by Black Americans) and should be called the last American Independence Day because that’s what it is.

I propose a political contributions tax. Set a limit that anybody can afford, say $200. Any contribution above that limit is taxed at 50%. If you can afford to spend $200,000,000 to promote your candidate then you can afford to support your government for an equal amount (or more).

In around 1968 an IBM SYSTEM 360 model 50 could run DOS with 500k of RAM & had a 2 mhz clock, but to run the BIG OS you need to have 1 megabyte! It cost a fortune. Soon I will get a Mac with 24 gigabytes of RAM, a terabyte of storage & a 2.5 ghz clock for the same price as a nice bicycle.

At 86 years old I am finally getting around to becoming an alcoholic, but it's not easy. Recently I measured out 1.5 oz of vodka to add to my diet Pepsi. As I drank I was disappointed at the lack of "kick". Next morning I was puzzled to find that my wife must have used my shot glass to measure...

Went to the full service car wash. Usually takes 20 minutes tops. Today After an hour still not wiped down so I asked for the key and left. They were woefully shorthanded. The manager told me he can't get his usual people to come to work because, even tho they're legal, they're afraid of ICE !

I bought an inexpensive #EastTop NV chromatic 12. Works better than anything I found at 4 times the price!! But the real secret is in one's skill, which finally became clear as I worked thru #Yvonnick_Prene's site, #NYHarmonicaSchool. The real secret is learning to play the same tune in all keys.

My #Suzuki #chromatic was a bust, so I ended up with a #Harmo #Angel16, but before I did I also tried an #EastTop NV in G. That works fine, but I really like playing a C harp. So I got a #Seydel in C orchestra. That works OK but it was pricey, and takes a lot of technique on the low notes.

I wanted to play Stardust so I got an Easttop Forerunner and worked it out in C, only to find I needed a low B. So I followed the advice of an online chromatic guru and bought a Suzuki 16 hole on eBay. Big mistake! It's unresponsive on low B and D draw, can't return it, can't fix it. Darn.

I am fascinated by the #seydel #nonslider #chromatic #harmonica. It works so well and sounds good from one end to the other. Of course my other favorite is the EastTop Forerunner. Neither of these use breathsavers/valves so they can be "bent", or will be when I master the technique.
