Big dent in the watchlist. The new VHS is terrible and I wonder if this franchise is running out of gas. First segment is alright though. Leviathan, good effects hampered by script shenanigans (why kill the Black guy with 30 seconds to go?) & TSADACM rocks. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

All across the decades. Heaping helping of Fred & Ginger (though I prefer Fred & Rita), then Gen Z existential horror, the non Tarantino Tarantino (so good); and then finishing up with a quintessential 70s conspiracy thriller. Great week! Spookytober next #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

Anyway the Armageddon, Hurt Berry, and 7 Pot Cinder plants are loaded for bear. No one wants to buy the 7 Pots, so I've been trying to find uses for them as they're prolific as hell. This week, made spicy oleo saccharum...WAAAAY too hot for smoothie syrup. The others will sell I think #gardening 🌶🌱

undertone has an ok story but that sound design had me inching my spine up a wall. In Bruges was a movie club favorite watch (Colin's eyebrows still look like a bridge I'd cross in a sec), The Debt Collector was good Scott Adkins; Big Business, the nostalgia pick #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

Accident Man is my new 2nd favorite Scott Adkins movie - good balance of humor with excellent action. Alien Nation (I miss James Caan) and Wayne's World still hold up. American Gigolo is a dive into seedy neo noir and Gere nails the unraveling #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

With a name like Kiss The Blood Off My Hands you should get pulpy fun. It's pulpy all right, but unless you're into Burt Lancaster like me, not much fun. Idiocracy: aggravating. Dredd: PERFECT. Marama: powerful Gothic horror with an eye rattling lead performance #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched
