Four years ago I started experimenting with AI. A year later, AI exploded with MidJourney and Stable Diffusion. This was an experiment to have a vision model create performance capture for animation.

What a surprise! I won best cinematography at the Las Cruces International Film Festival over the weekend for my work on "Somewhere in Montana". Thank you, Brandon, for believing in me!

My wife is a strong and beautiful woman who gave birth to our second child, a wonderful daughter. If I’m tired on set the next few months, you’ll know why. :)

Happy to be working on a gig today, even if it’s a weekend day. (My wife is a saint for full parent duty) In the meantime, some old set photos! (Can’t share today’s, NDA strikes again!)

Took my son to a Dog Man pop up event and he is now a fan. Guess I know what I’m doing next weekend! Ps, he also found R2D2 and C3PO’s hand prints at Guam’s.

Some good news, over the weekend a feature film I shot, "Somewhere in Montana" opened in theatres. My grandparents finally got to see a movie I shot in a theatre and it warmed my heart throughout these horrific fires. Look at how excited my grandma is!

@samreich.bsky.social and the dropout.tv team made me tear up a little today. Thank you for this gift. It was an absolute pleasure to work on Game Changer! Seriously, Dropout is one of the best companies to crew for. Amazing people and amazing work. It’s little things like this that go far.
