Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 14/10/2026Who will I meet at the @worldvoicesorg.bsky.social Unconference this weekend? 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 06/10/2026⛈️ 🌪️ ❄️ ⚠️ When a meteorologist says "we need to talk" - don't get stressed just yet. It could be a mesoscale discussion, which isn't always a bad thing! Mesoscale discussions can be a precursor to a weather watch or warning, but don't always have to be. But paying attention to them makes sense. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 22/09/2026🧺 🌕️ 🚜 Soon, it will be the full moon closest to September 22 - the Autumnal Equinox. That means it is the HARVEST MOON! Our first in a series on the names of the full moons. The Harvest Moon is unique because it's based on the equinox and not a calendar month. #techyfeely #harvestmoon 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 08/09/2026🌛🔭 Is it a coincidence that International Observe the Moon Night is happening right after my announcement of my year-long series on the names of the full moons? I’ll let you decide! While you think about it, be sure to look up on the night of September 19, 2026 and be a part of the worldwide event! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 02/06/2026I know, it's been a while since we touched on weather. Let's stay within our own atmosphere for this episode and revisit some old friends, clouds! Specifically, I'd like to introduce you to asperitas clouds, which is the newest cloud type recognized by the International Cloud Atlas in March 2017. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 05/05/2026Space fan? 🚀 or ocean fan? 🌊 Today's stop should make both happy as we stop at Neptune. Named for the god of the sea, Neptune has a dark spot that is similar to Jupiter's red spot and is the only planet actually discovered by math rather than visually. Yay math! 📐 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 21/04/2026Finally, the planet that has a name that feels thought up by middle school boys! Or does it? Turns out there are two ways to say it and one is less...giggle inducing. It's also the only planet with two, count 'em two, planetary symbols! Let's find out more, shall we? 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 07/04/2026Here we are at Saturn - a favorite of mine 🪐 The second largest planet in our solar system has its famous rings. Did you know that those rings are actually "raining" down onto the surface? Don't worry, at the rate they are falling, they will be around for another few hundred thousand years! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 02/04/2026I recently completed an audiobook and it mentioned the "Big Ear", which was a large radio telescope run by Ohio State Univ from 1963-98. Cosmic radiation requires different tools measure than optical telescopes but I love the idea that it is the oldest "sound" coming our way to be detected. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 24/03/2026What's that giant planet up there? The one with the big red spot? Yup, it's time to pass by Jupiter on our planetary tour. Trying to understand just how large Jupiter is kind breaks my brain a little bit...but it is so cool to see it in the sky on a clear night. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 19/03/2026I continue to be amazed by our human senses! 👂️ 👃 👁️ 👅 🖐️ And, of course, there's echolocation in bats, infrared vision in snakes, and magnetic navigation in migratory birds...leave it to the animal kingdom to always remind us that there is even more to be amazed by in nature! 001 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 10/03/2026Let's take a little rest break from our road trip through the solar system. There is SO MUCH (literal) space between Mars and the next planet that early astronomers expected to find another planet there. Instead, we have the Main Asteroid Belt. Buckle in and let's learn some more about this belt! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 05/03/2026Wondering what "𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘺-𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘺" means? Here's a great example: the "𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁"! Mission Specialist Christina Koch explains:“when...you see Earth...with the whole universe...You don’t see borders...political boundaries. All you see is Earth and you see we are way more alike than we are different. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 24/02/2026Making our way through the Solar System and this stop is almost halfway (but not by distance). Mars is a favorite planet for astronomers and sci fiction fans. The red planet certainly holds us with fascination, doesn't it?I ove being able to spot it in the night sky because of that reddish cast. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 23/02/2026All good things come to an end. And the 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ has been a good thing. This small painting was in my stocking and was created by my niece. She painted us small versions of fruit trees that start with our first initial so I got an 🥑 tree which is perfect, because I LOVE avocado! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 19/02/2026I've been fortunate to see double rainbows, full arc rainbows and a sun dog or two but, I've never seen a "fogbow" but boy do I want to see one!! Ok - who has seen one? Where were you? I will want to go to there. 🌈 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 16/02/2026I've been bowling since jr high school and my dad and I competed in the Sr Olympics for a long time. When I was a kid, they gave us wooden pins with our high game for the season. I've surpassed that score but I didn't get a pin 😞 My dad is a wood turner so he made me a pin to add to the collection. 020 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 10/02/2026Time for a little visit to the third rock from the Sun! Yep - let's talk about our home planet a little bit. Earth lives in the sweet spot - not too close to the Sun and not too far away. It's pretty remarkable, really, how our planet makes things work for us to live and thrive here. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 09/02/2026Form vs Function? 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩! I've shared a couple functional pottery pieces on our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗠 so today, we will move into a different media - glass. This fused glass piece is a bottle stopper and I just adore its scale (maybe pun intended?) #tinyarttour #techy-feely 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 05/02/2026It's not WHAT you say...It's HOW you say it. How many times have we heard that? "I didn't like your tone." could be something you might hear from a parent. 😌 It's fascinating how elements like tone, pace, intention, emphasis really change meaning. #techy-feely 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 02/02/2026Happy Groundhog's Day! On today's 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™, I wish I had a groundhog artwork but I don't. This little squirrel will have to stand in. I'm sure you can tell that this a piece from childhood. Well loved and a little worse for the wear. Are you wishing for more winter or ready for spring today? 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 28/01/2026Well, well, well, it has been a year of the Sky is NOT The Limit! My goal was to at least make it six months and then decide what to do from there...and, I totally forgot that was my goal until I saw it jotted down in my notes. I appreciate anyone who has taken a moment to watch! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 26/01/2026A 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗠 stop at my desk. This Yoda was crocheted for me by a friend at the college where I worked. I always admired her skill with fabric arts and was delighted when this appeared on my desk one day! Now, Yoda helps me work at my home desk. I'm pretty sure the Force is with both of us. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 22/01/2026I was a science museum educator and I loved it! I loved finding unique ways to share science concepts with the public. Named German physicist Ernst Chladni, these plates are a wonderful device to visualize sound. #techyfeely #scienceeducation #sciencenarration 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 21/01/2026I'm happy to share my updated website with fresh new demos in Medical Narration, e-Learning and Corporate Narration. Three of my favorite genres!! And, some fresh new images to go along with the new sounds. Check it out...and if you see something out of place, please let me know! 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 12/01/2026Who's on this stop on our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™? Fitting "tiny" very well is a china piece from Japan that just makes me happy. The size, the color blue, the owl's expression. All of it just make a great combination that brings a smile every time I notice it. What art to you have that makes you happy? 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 08/01/2026Who doesn't love a good laugh? I'm an easy audience for comedy as a fan of the easy laugh - puns, physical comedy, sight gags as well as more sophisticated setup in sketch comedy and good standup with callbacks to the first part of the show (Suzy Eddie Izzard is genius at that!) Have a fave joke? 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 07/01/2026I was so happy to be a guest on The Voice Kitchen podcast with Cheryl. Episode drops tomorrow on your fave podcast platform. 110 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 05/01/2026Welcome to 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ 2026! As we move quickly through the 12 days of Christmas, I thought it made sense to share a small nativity that I found in Portugal. I love the handmade style and the fact that the rural nature of the Alentajas (where I picked this up) is represented. #TinyArtTour 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 29/12/2025Ending 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ 2025 with work by my dad. I call myself a "techy-feely" person because I got the best of both worlds w/ an engineer father & a therapist mom. Dad is more than the stereotypical engineer. He has been into wood turning for a while and over time his work has grown so much! 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 26/12/2025If you are gathering with family and/or friends at this time of year, I hope hearing the sounds of those you love bring you the reward of love and safety. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 22/12/2025Today's 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧 ™ entry is above the door to the screened porch and has been in my house for over 20 years. The artist is Deb Shmerler and the piece is titled "Hatreds Only Cease By Love". I thought it was a very creative wreath with science vibes so I just leave it up year round to enjoy. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 21/12/2025Happy Solstice everyone!! May the longest night be filled with warmth and safety for us all. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 16/12/2025It is almost the Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. The nights are much longer than the days and the Yule log is burnt to help usher in the light again. Soltices are important markers of the path of the sun through each year. Let's learn more about them! 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 15/12/2025With my love of functional pottery, it's no surprise, I find some art in my fridge with this awesome Prince themed butter dish today on our 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧 ™I love the use of the Prince symbol as part of the rooster along with other symbology & colors. It’s a favorite thing in my fridge. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 11/12/2025Do you find the voice of a loved one comforting? I do find it interesting how different tones of voice bring up varying emotions. We all remember the reaction when your mom used ALL of your names 🫣 . Voice actors provide - the right tone of voice needed for the script. That is why it is acting. 🎭 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 08/12/2025What's up, doc? Today, our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ stops a stop at another work of mine. This time from many years ago. In the 70s, my mom went through a phase of making a lot of ceramics. And, I accompanied her to the studio from time to time. Bugs was one of my first artworks. #tinyarttour 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 02/12/2025As the weather cools, the sky gets clearer and at night, we can see the stars even better. Which made me think about the different kinds of stars we see. Did you know there are different star types? It's all part of the star life cycle...let's learn some more, shall we? 🌟 🤩 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 01/12/2025Wish I knew more @ the artist on this stop of our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™. This collage hangs in my kitchen near the sink to remind me of my "Girl Power" as I wash dishes. It is a gift from my sister-in-law from an art show in Columbus, Ohio. I love the use of a key for the hanger and the dimensional parts. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 17/11/2025When traveling, I like to bring back art created locally. So today's 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ stop is an example of that. I got this piece from a sidewalk artist down from Sacre Coeur in Paris. A wonderful travel moment. What do you collect when you travel? 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 13/11/2025I think we all innately know that sound and emotion are strongly connected. Look at music, it has so much to do with feelings of all types from boundless joy to the deepest despair. Go to happy songs include: Stay Up Late (Talking Heads), I Just Want to Celebrate (Rare Earth) and Kiss (Prince) 120 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 10/11/2025I'm a big fan of functional pottery. And, that includes salt and pepper shakers. I'm not a collector but I do have a few artistic ones. This set from the late 60's certainly represents my interest in space.🚀 020 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 03/11/2025On the 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ today, we are enjoying this fun piece. I come from a family of storytellers so a friend made me this storytelling bear sculpture to celebrate that. Inspired by the storytelling sculptures of the Pueblo, I love that it is a nod to the bears found here in the Great Smoky Mtns. 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 30/10/2025I'm not a fan of scary movies. Young Frankenstein is more my speed. What do you find most scary? The lighting? Jump scares? The silences? The music? I know the ominous music totally works for me...I mean, if you heard that music would you go down into that dark basement alone?? Happy Halloween! 🎃 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 27/10/2025Art delights, surprises, entertains, challenges, and more. Today's 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ is sheer delight and surprise. A gift, it was just waiting for me to notice it upon returning from a trip. Owls are special and this piece lets me celebrate them as well as a good friend. #TinyArtTour 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 20/10/2025Today's stop on our 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™ is near the kitchen. This plastic brick piece was in a holiday stocking one year and is the spitting image of Dashiell, who shared the house with us. We miss him a lot but enjoy having him around in this form to make us smile. #TinyArtTour #CatsAreAwesome 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 16/10/2025I don't think I would enjoy hearing the world's loudest shout. But, I do know how variation in volume and pitch can make speech more interesting...for example, in e-learning, audiobooks or other narration. As a professional voiceover artist, that is something I continually practice and study. 000 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 13/10/2025Today on 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™, here's something I made! This is a clay piece made from a clay slab. I haven't mastered the throwing wheel so that will have to wait a bit. Using stamps, sticks and a knife, I created this celtic inspired piece that I see each morning! #MakeArt #TinyArtTour 010 0
Audrey J Williams @ajwmsvoices.com · 06/10/2025This piece hangs in my hallway and is a work by my father-in-law. He taught himself sculpture after he retired and I so admire him for doing that. Most of his pieces are stone and are larger. But, he worked with wood, which is the media for this. I am happy to share it on the 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 ™. 010 0
