Some years back I spent a bit of time working on an audio-visual install project in Oman. Uninspiring job but paid some bills. But…the rich guys living in the mansions were the ones who owned air-conditioning companies. Grim times ahead for the planet.

Drove over to Bristol yesterday in our new (to us) hybrid car. Got 59.5 MPG (admittedly taking a very sedate pace). Not been a fuel economy nerd before but I guess it’s not too late to start.
