The main entrance to Melbourne's Flinders Street train station. It's a large Edwardian Baroque sandstone building with a green copper dome, and an arched entryway with clocks above it. Melbourne's Swanston Street, Town Hall Square, and St Paul's Cathedral. #Melbourne #city #photography #Victoria #Australia

The sky is purple and light blue for sunset. The focus is Swanston Street, which is the main semi-pedestrianised north-south street through the Melbourne CBD. In the bottom-left foreground, two cyclists are riding through.

Swanston Street is lined with winter trees with no leaves and street lights. It has tram tracks with overhead wiring down the middle.

In the middle of the shot is the glass canopy for the new Town Hall Metro station, a modern hotel, and a neo Gothic sandstone cathedral called St Paul's.

Along the left border of the photo is the corner of Melbourne Town Hall.
