As a guy, I must say... We're the [censored]ing worst and we deserve ALL the vitriol for what we, collectively, have done to harm women. You can't say "not all men!!!" because it changes the conversation away from our collective responsibility. I have zero respect for guys who hide behind that.

Game #17 of 2026 completed: The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy! This may be one of the most ambitious visual novels ever published. While decision points to change routes are obviously telegraphed, you often find yourself thinking, “Holy crap, they actually thought of that.”

Trails in the Sky… 2nd impressions? So as someone with a decent familiarity with the Trails lore, I know that Sky 2nd eventually gets good. But the first few hours are a grindy, featureless DRAG. I could see someone unfamiliar potentially jumping (air)ship. Sticking with it, of course.

One thing that's an unfortunate bummer with both the Sky remakes is that GungHo isn't doing day-and-date DRM-free GOG releases like NIS does. It's going to feel weird when the last game of the Calvard arc releases on GOG and both Sky remakes still have Steam DRM.

Hundred Line impressions! I’m now about 30 in-game days in, and I feel like, so far, it’s “Kodaka writing” at its best and worst. The premise is insane (in a good way) but character archetypes are exaggerated to the degree of annoyance and the idea that you can “quantify persuasion” is so stupid.
