I grew up on Long Island. The Democrats are NIMBYs. The Republicans are outright racists, homophobes and borderline evil people. I left my own family behind because my father tried to tell my four year old son about the evil basketball players not standing for the anthem.

This is a great add because it features people talking like people and calling out the absurdity of her statement. This isn't a lecture - its a conversation at a basketball game or a barber shop.

Insert Van Wilder "...but why?" meme here.

Should I be the one to point out that this is exactly how the giant game ended?

I feel like this game might be about to get very fun.

The Rams running is like 75% well blocked inside zone plays and it works like a charm. The idea of needing a varied running game is mostly a lie.

My extremely high level take on the Commanders clock fiasco is that it was a bad call by the coach and it was executed miserably by the quarterback. I'll still think Daniels will be just fine. Tranquilo.

This is incredibly compelling. It makes sense in a way that you kind of feel.

EMDR brought back incredibly vivid flashbacks and dreams. Stay with it. It helps.

Running into stacked boxes on 2nd and 8 is the Giants kink.

There's something oddly real about this- my brother was a community college dropout who worked in a grocery store, and my parents knew what to do with him. I'm a college educated professional whose worst crime was liking girls and nerdy video games and they treated me like I was on heroin.

Civ 6 is my GOAT. I do think more people should give 7 a shot again. It's gotten to a point where I genuinely enjoy the thought exercise, even if it doesn't reach Civ 6 levels of enjoyment.

I wrote a thing about PAC. I have no idea how to feel yet. I'm still figuring it out. What I do know is that we should all follow his lead in knowing our value and not being afraid to let others know it as well.

Death of a Bastard: How PAC’s Passing Made Me Wonder about My Own Mortality

A Pro Wrestler died. It’s not exactly a rare headline. I’m certainly not celebrating it, but I think it’s something that I’ve come to…

Let's also celebrate PAC as a trailblazer. A guy who knew his value and refused to let anyone, including the most powerful man in the industry, tell him that it wasn't what we thought it was.

Playin' The Long Game @ajdefranco.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I can't believe PAC is gone. What a terrible run of trauma for AEW. Condolences to everyone who knew him. I was, and am, a legit fan of his work.

Its such a boon to AEW to be able to pull PAC out of the closet and have him be able to have an absolute banger with anyone on the roster.

The Nor'easter has largely been windy so far here in southern New England, but it was enough to knock out power for a little. The Network is back up, and it gave me a moment to add Lost Odyssey to the end of the playlist. www.twitch.tv/therpgnetwork

This is why grading out CBs is so tough. Even the good ones, when they are in the best position they could possibly be in, allow catches and it's tough to ever feel like you have a beat on what is happening with the context of the film itself.

I think people are misunderstanding the WWE on Rumble thing. I don't think this is a media deal. I think it's about appeasing the powerful people they deal with by throwing them what they see as a major content win, while to WWE it's incredibly spare change.

I'm trying hard not to doom about the Giants, but I can't help feeling like the season is over in September. The most important thing that could have happened was getting more information on whether Dart was the real thing, and now that decision is delayed another year.

The Rams have let the Giants stay in this game despite one of the worst halves of football I've seen in a long time, from both a vibes and execution standpoint. Time to see if they can take advantage.
