AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ........ I finally finished that damn ruffle on the dress..... I literally spent my entire day off on it. I have no idea how the hell I'm going to rig the bones for it. I just hope the texture doesn't get completely screwed up. I am absolutely drained.

I think that’s about it. I’m not sure about the piece on the belt—whether it’s supposed to float or lie flat. I don’t know how to handle that. And then there’s the neck ornament; I gather the cape attaches to it.

I followed the tutorial, but I went ahead and made the arm parts right away—and then I forgot to attach the neck. Honestly, I often overlook little details like that: when the head turns out well, I forget that the torso actually needs to be fitted to it. XD

#wha #witchhatatelier So, here’s the verdict: the head actually turned out well. In terms of curves and polygons, there’s almost no tension or artifacting. Yay, yay, yay! I actually managed to make something to a high standard.

So, I rounded it out a bit, and the face actually came out even closer. I won't bother with the face any further, only after texturing. I'm just afraid to touch the polygons anyway, lest I create artifacts.

So, does it look similar? I made a rough model based on the lesson, but then I started tweaking it. Yeah, yeah, I can get closer to the original, but not exactly the same. I'll probably use a hair style from some template as a starting point and build on that.
