I'd rather we get false positives for AI on Substack vs like the enslopification run wild like it has. Even if my writing got a false flag, I'd prefer that to BS unfiltered slop spam.

lol it does seem like a Amazon fuck up right? But it was actually Meijer! And yes my other two families were pretty happy I got enough KitKats for them all this time.

I have been watching a few true crime documentaries in the past few days. Not normal for me but “The Crash” and “Motherly Instinct” were both pretty engaging. #truecrime #netflixstuff

I ordered 3 KitKats one for each person in our family. For some reason received 20?

He is still alive. I’m so desperately trying to not let him die.

Well I finally listened to my intrusive thoughts and bought Folio Society books. No regret honestly. #thefoliosociety #foliosociety #bookcollector

My cat is snoring so loud I can’t sleep but I don’t want to wake him… he seems so happy.

Finished •Earthlings• by Sayaka Murata. This isn’t the weirdest book I’ve read but it’s on the stranger side. And becauae I do enjoy strange things I liked this book (but obviously everyone in it was insane lol) I was happy the one persob died (avoiding spoilers?) I would give this a 4/5⭐️

I bought a fountain pen today. Did I already have one … yes. But I broke the nib and instead of being fine it writes very thick. So I feel ok. I love the ink I have and my pen was nearly unusable because I write teeny tiny. twsbi eco EF I won’t go more expensive becauae I am clumsy #fountainpen

I’m definitely at the point in the night where I need to put down my fucking phone but my brain is self destructive and is fighting going to bed so I start commenting too much on social media 😂 but going to sleep now crankiness like this is sign to sleep. Ignore my bullshit 🤣

I am also a huge killjoy ❤️‍🩹 Certain aspects of “reading the stars” I just can’t help feel annoyed by, especially because I have taken astronomy classes and it’s a minor special interest…and these “readings” wouldn’t work how they think and sometimes make zero sense. Ugh rant.

Like I think it’s a lot of fun. But yeeeah. Same with alchemy it’s a cute idea but not something I actually believe. Academically the topics are neat to lean about. But I know this was not what you were hoping to learn about!!

Aisling @aislingb.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

😬😬😬 yeah I like those ideas as fun or entertainment. Like learning peoples signs and seeing how some signs might “act alike” is fun. But let be real usually the ideas are just vague things everyone possesses on some level or people lean into a sign or self select traits of the sign they are

Also never posted the crazy hail from last week… it hailed for 15-20 minutes straight. #weather #hail

White marble sized hail on the ground, a lot of it, mixed with leaves

Watched •Trust Me: The False Prophet• as well as the interviews from people in the Doc on the •cults to consciousness• YT channel. This documentary hit hard like Keep Sweet, especially because of all the footage that made the viewer a direct witness. Glad some of the people are healing now. 4/5⭐️

Train tickets secured. Now I need to I guess fix the roof and probably get a new oven. Writing something weird and uncomfy.

I think it’s a rumor still but from the same original sources who soft launched the possession remake

This hurts me so deeply. He also wants to “finish” On the Silver Globe…disgusting

Aisling @aislingb.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

The fact that Possession (1981) is being remade and “On the Silver Globe” might be being “finished” by the Smile director literally makes me want destroy Parker Finn completely and absolutely. This is a crime. Also this is a hate crime against me. #possessionremake #filmsky

I read Station Eleven finally and I really enjoyed it. I’ve read other peoples reviews and while I understand what the people who didnt like it are pointing out, I guess I just don’t agree. This book made me at one point, vocally scream, “omg!” Want to watch show. 5/5⭐️ #booksky #bookreview

So I watched “Chess Mates” and I actually watched this whole thing unfold live, so it was interesting to revisit. But honestly this “cheating allegation” kind of rippled out way further than most people realize leading to some really tragic stuff imo. 4/5⭐️ #chessmates #chesssky #chess

Life isnt just kicking me while down, it’s like that episode of The Office where Micheal pins Dwight in a dojo fight, then as he is begging for mercy…Micheal spits on his mouth. Except in this situation I’m the Dwight. #fuck

I hope one day Nana (manga and anime series) will get an ending. In my opinion Nana is close to the end as it currently stands. I guess if I wrote the ending, I would simply have Nana O walk through the door to meet her friends in room 707. All stare or Hachi has tears in her eyes. #nana #nanamanga
