Also the West is just so much better now than it was last year, so staying steady after barely winning while everyone around us gets better seems like resting a little too much on our laurels if there are ways to improve without mortgaging the future

Yeah it’s weird cause they’ve shown they can shoot in the regular season, I think I’m just to the point now where I see who they are in the playoffs and value that more and a lot of our “shooters” fall off when it gets to the postseason. Combine that with guys like Cason stagnating and it’s not good

I definitely agree with that, also seems like bad timing that every on ball creator outside of Shai is hurt. But even when healthy I feel like the shooting and creating woes have been clear for a few seasons now and any call to improve the roster gets shot down by a lot of fans and media members

The numbers all say he gets calls at an equal or lower rate than most every other 30+ scorer in league history and gets calls at a league average per drive. Every player in the league tries drawing fouls when they have an opportunity too and it’s a real skill. Literally just watched Ant do it

I don’t think the offense was this bad either in that series, just seemed like they hit open 3s that we gave them more than anything but I do honestly feel like Shai has come up short and stagnated the offense a lot this year in close games

Alex I’m very tired of people waving away this team’s shortcomings just being due to their youth. Those possessions at the end of the 4th and all of OT were horrendous and not at all like anything that won them 68 games this year, no excuse for the supposed MVP

Every now and then Mark has a game that makes me doubt him and I don’t know how we’re not supposed to after this one, some of the worst end game management I’ve seen in my life. Even if Jokic was still on the court, why would you not trust your defense?
